Shoe Spotlight January Edition

If you’re anything like me, you’ve been living in booties this winter. I love a good boot as a standout piece, but sometimes opt for a shorter option to elongate my figure; in come the bootie! The bootie has been a life changer because they make them in so many patterns, colors, textures, you name it! Here are my favorite round ups for shoes this month that I know I will live in!
The Dr. Martens waterproof color block boot has been amazing. I love the traction this boot perfect for January & February when the showers in Cali start. The colors are different making them a standout piece and the neutrals makes them pair-able with almost everything.
The combat comeback! I’ve been overly obsessed with combat boots this season. They give me ankle support like no other shoes and they add an edgier feel to any outfit combo!
Studded booties add a certain something to a look. It is an additional touch to a regular bootie elevating a shoe to create a stylish emphasis. It kind of works as an an added accessory of some sort wrapping up an outfit into the perfect finished look.
The no knee high boot– There is some confusion on which is the perfect height for the knee high boot. I think anything that stops before the knee is a perfect boot for anyone. I went for a suede fabric in these, but a faux leather no knee high is also a timeless classic!
The regular black bootie is a must. When i say it is a must I mean, MUST! Make sure to pick out a comfortable bootie with a fabric you love because you’ll be wearing these for seasons to come. Some of my favorite brands for the classic black bootie are Alias Mae, Zara International, Sam Edelman, and Marc Fisher!
The white lace up Kenneth Cole bootie. These booties were a little out of my comfort zone at first. However, they are super comfortable and work well with most of my winter looks. I even wore these booties to Disneyland this year because of how comfortable they were!
Last but not least, the classic croc cowboy boot. I know, I know it’s a bit different. It’s a boot that I don’t wear as ofter but when I do, I get so many compliments on! These boots are Marc Fisher and I wore them all throughout fall — I’m surprised they are making the transition into winter this year!
