Pattern Perfection for Fall

Seeing pumpkin spice on the Starbucks menu is great and all, but not as exciting as changing into your fall wardrobe. As a seasonal spotlight, I wanted to create a blog post for all the season’s best patterns; a pattern perfection of sorts. Some are classics, some are trendy pieces that you will shop for the season and toss as soon as February sneaks up on us, and some are newly found fashion statements that will be along for the ride wherever our days take us for the next couple of years.
Spice up your wardrobe with a plaid poncho. I personally love ponchos because they are similar to a cozy blanket but act as a style statement. It’s a very easy piece to wear especially if you’re a throw on and go kinda gal. This specific piece is from Vici Collection and you can shop it here !
A freckled addition to a look is always a fun take on a print. It may act as a print or also as a neutral because of the fine detailing. Add it to a skirt and it creates a femme and flowy masterpiece. A freckled print can look great in almost every color and it’s very easy to choose pairings with it!
The classic checkered print has been around for as long as I can remember, I think one of my first collaborations on the blog was with a checkered coat. This is five years ago that were talking about. This scarf id a great throw on addition to a simple outfit taking it to the next level. A checkered print is something that you can choose based on your personality. I love a red and black combo, but I think I could also go for a tan and beige combo if I were feeling a little less bold that day.
Multicolored & printed. This is a very tricky one. This can look messy, frumpy, and all around tacky if it’s not done right. A multicolored print can turn ugly in the blink of an eye, so we have to be careful when choosing items that fit into this category. I went with a sweater which is a little on the safer side, but still could turn into ugly sweater station in no time. I thought the print on the sleeves was very different and paired the piece with colors already featured in the sweater.
Outerwear is a personal favorite of mine. It gives you a chance to create a look with just one piece and who doesn’t love that kind of simplicity! I know I definitely do! I literally drool every time I come across patterned outerwear because I know it will be a showstopper and I’m good to pair it with jeans, booties & listo!
A patterned set is a must in my opinion. This is a new addition to my wardrobe, but I have gotten so many uses out of it. I ‘ve worn it to meetings, date night, brunch, as a day to night look etc. The list goes on and on. I think a tailored feminine suit like this is very important especially if you’re a girl on the go. This set has definite boss lady feels.

Hope you guys got some fall pattern eye openers and this makes it easier for when those sales start pouring in and you know exactly what to shop for!
xx Gina
