This year’s first travel itinerary has begun. My first big trip of the year started out like most, butterflies in my stomach and excitement to visit a new city. Knowing I was only going to be 48 in Oslo, Norway I felt like a backpacker wanting to get to know the city as best as I could in the limited amount of time that I had. As soon as I got to the city, I noticed that there was nature everywhere I looked and I can’t express how extremely beautiful it was.
I stayed in the center of the city surrounded by a mixture of tourists and Norwegians. I usually gravitate towards visiting cute coffee shops and trendy restaurants, which is what I found blocks away from where I was staying. I honestly felt safe and in a weird way I felt at home because of how welcoming the people were. The city was crowded with lively people speaking a variety of languages.
I woke up early the first day there, only to experience the most beautiful sunrise. Given I was a little jetlagged, I decided to get ready and hit the town. Although the weather was cold, it was not unbearable which made me more excited to go out and get to know the culture. That’s what the best part of traveling is.
Many of us make the new year’s resolution to travel more, but this year is the year to make your travels happen. Something will always be in the way, but there is no better feeling than waking up somewhere that is unfamiliar and ready to be explored. So excited to share more on my upcoming destinations. Stay Tuned !
SAN FRANCISCO TRAVEL TIPS
Hello everyone!! So its been a long time since I have posted tips and places to go when traveling. Last week I ended up having a mini getaway to San Francisco and I think everyone loves the bay area during the holidays. The weather was perfect and gave me more time to check out more places people recommended me on previous times.
I stayed at the Mark Hopkins Intercontinental and I gotta say I felt like I was in the Movie Home alone. The hotel was so beautiful and the service was amazing! Each day was a different theme and one day even Santa came, which was pretty amazing. Cookies and apple cider all over the place, seriously made me feel like home.
The next day I ended up going to Twin Peaks, which one can see the top of San Francisco’s view. It’s a hike or a ride (if you want to make it easier) but it’s totally worth it!
I don’t know if most of you know Hayes Valley but it is a super cute street filled with local shops and cute coffee spots. I ended up spending my day at The Boulangerie, which they make the best lattes and HUGE ones.
On Sunday morning we decided to go for bunch walking distance from the hotel and we ended up at Nob Hill Cafe. Such a cute spot and the best scramble eggs! Definitely try the french toast and their house coffee :).
It was a short trip but definitely worth it.
Even though I don’t have as many photos of beautiful Seattle, I can surely tell you it is one of the most beautiful places in the US I have ever been to.
I landed in Seattle around 9am on a Saturday and the weather was perfect! (Cold but sunny) … As I got in the Uber I noticed how green and clean the city was, so many pine trees and beautiful cut out streets, which made me more anxious to get to the hotel and start being a tourist.
PS: I was here just for the Bellevue Fashion show and literally just for one day! (flying back in less than 24 hours … very express trip!).
As I got to the hotel I waited for my other blogger friend, Brittany to arrive so we could head up to Pike Place Farmers Market, which everyone recommended me. We got to the market and oh it was good! So many restaurants and lines out the door for food! (Especially clam chowders and ice creams).
We ended up at this really cute restaurant on the corner of 1st and Pike and had the best quiche ever! The place was called Cafe Campagne (highly recommend it!). Also we noticed that everyone was carrying flowers everywhere… that was when we decided to check it out and never the less even though I was not even staying for two days I ended up buying some flowers as well. There were so many different types that I ended up going for the simple ones (white) and the best part is they are honestly the cheapest dozen I have ever bought!!
If you ever go buy some flowers too!
After we ate we could not forget the first Starbucks! So we ended up just looking through it outside, there were so many people and a huge line out the door. After that we bumped into the GUM wall… yes a wall full of bubble gums everywhere! The alley litterally smells like fruit punch mixed with mint (so wierd but interesting). I guess we ended up doing a lot of things for one day but still I feel I could have eaten more… the restaurants looked so nice and the food AMAZING. If you ever go make your first stop at the farmers market, you will love it.
Hi Loves!!! So happy to be able to share one of the most amazing trips I have been on so far… It was honestly a last minute trip, improvised, but soooo worth it!!! The first stop, as you can tell was Mykonos, Greece. When I first booked the flight I thought it will be a magical place surrounded with beautiful white houses and blue doors, all of this was true, but even better… Mykonos is one of the most popular and glamorous Greek isles, and also known for its nonstop party atmosphere with different crowds and positive energy. I never thought I would be arriving to a party isle until the taxi driver picked me up and said “If you like to party, you came to the right place”. The beaches, which are amazing welcome a diverse crowd, with sandside bars that make you dance to a great song and live music.
This was the view from our hotel… what do you guys think??? Good right? and the bar was even better (hehe)

Pretty view from Mykonos town.
Hope you guys like the photos I shared and if you have any questions please share in my comments or on my instagram page @huntforstyles.
One of the best places I have ever visited was two weeks ago. This amazing place has no words on how magical each and every street is designed. We flew to Naples, Italy and rented a car (mini cars like the movies, we felt so Italian) and drove for an hour until we got to Positano. OH MY GOD once we got there we stopped literally in every corner you could imagine… Me for example, a girl who lives of of photos wanted to take pictures everywhere!!! My sister was getting to the point were GINA YOU HAVE TO STOP AND WE HAVE TO KEEP WALKING.
On the way there it’s a drive up then down until you get to the beach… so many beautiful stores and the people let’s just say we were under dressed! We ate at a place that a friend recommended us called Tres Soelle, which was amazing and the owner Luiggi was so nice! Everybody here in this little town makes you feel at home and for us two days was just not enough… if any of you guys end up going it is the most romantic place in the world so bring your special someone for sure (I brough my sister lol)… Hope you guys like the photos I shared today and stay tuned for Capri diary coming soon.
The first day we decided to to to Parc De Guell, which is an amazing place full of colors… If you want my advice and you plan to go during the Summer, arrive there around 7 pm, the park closes at 8:30 and the sunset starts at 8pm so it’s the perfect lighting for photos and really enjoying the sunset from the top.
I went during those hours and got to enjoy not only the top scenery but the park in general as well.
I wore my New Balance sneakers that day… aren’t they super cute??
The next day I stayed at the W Hotel Barcelona and have to say one of the most amazing hotels so far. It has a perfect view to the beach and really good restaurants underneath… the photo below is at a restaurant exactly below the hotel with great views to all the city. If you ask me where is the perfect place to stay? It’s here.
This is at the Gothic Barrio, that’s what they call it and the streets here are perfect for pictures since they have such an odd architecture with great colors. A lot of cute stores to shop around and great restaurants as well.
If you as me what were my top restaurant to eat at… these are the ones:
- Cerveceria Catalana (Best place for tapas!)
- Martinez Restaurant
- Champaneria (Great for drinks)
- Boca Grande (for drinks too)
- EL Nacional
Hope you guys liked it and wait for new travel posts coming up!
This past weekend, I got the opportunity to go to the Kentucky Derby with Bacardi. It was an amazing experience and I met many wonderful people. The first day we went to an amazing brunch, which you can see on the photos, they had adorable decorations, perfect for the derby. After brunch, we headed off to the tracks and spent most of my time at the Bacardi House dancing and sipping on some good Bacardi Citrus punch.
The Second day was a lot of fun as well, I honestly wore my sneakers because of the many blisters I got the day before. Again, I spent most of my day at the Bacardi House and got to listen to some good DJ’s … We ended up at the box for the big finale and what a better way to finish than with a good ice cream. This weekend was honestly AMAZING and would do it again without thinking… hope you like what I shared and hope to see you next year!

An amazing experience, I must say… I’ve been here a couple of times and love it more every time. I came for a bachelorette party and even though it is a little town there is much to see! The food is awesome, the streets are beautiful, and the hotels are amazing!!! We ended up staying at a house by airbnb and it was better than expected. My friend (the bride to be) had an amazing time, which was the best part of all. Hope you enjoy the pictures and talk to you soon 🙂
