Ok so this post has been asked sooo many times already! … Believe it or not it’s easier than it looks and will do a 3 easy step to achieve a messy bun!
- Don’t try and do a messy bun after washing your hair…. usually messy buns work better on 2nd or 3rd day of no wash, which is even better because you have an extra excuse not to wash it and it even looks good! I usually put it in a bun on the 3rd day and just add a little bit of hairspray… maybe some of you might think, Why she doesn’t wash her hair after 3 days ? eewwwkk…. but let me tell you, it’s healthier for your hair and doesn’t damage that often.
2. Doesn’t matter the lenght as long as there is volume… In other words if you have thin hair I would suggest using dry shampoo on the inside of where the bun hair will be placed. This will give it more volume and will make the bun look even bigger… I on the other hand have a lot of hair so basically I use just dry shampoo on my roots and massage it all the way to the bun.
3. And last I love messy buns with hairs misplaced everywhere… don’t be scared to leave those baby hairs out or some that you might think don’t go there. Believe me the messier the better and even if some hairs look weird somewhere, just accessorize it with some cute pins or even thick bobby pins to give it more of an edgy look.
Hope all of this helps and let me know if you want a step by step tutorial soon 🙂
