Florals for Spring? … Groundbraking. I’m back with another blog post, and this one features this amazing maxi dress I recently snatched. The weather had not been up to par to wear this baby , but this week I decided that although there might be a bit of wind, I wanted to go ahead and wear something a little different. I decided to pair this fall floral maxi with a floral shoe, but as you can tell the shoe is a very subtle floral. So this is my take on the floral on floral for spring.
If you’ve been following along for a while, you know I love my neutrals although from time to time I do like to mix it up. This dress was a perfect match for me because it had warmer tones but still a Spring inspired print. It’s comfortable, breathable, and it shows off a little leg for some skin action. I decided to have an original and subtle take for florals on florals that still works. My Kat Macone flat tie ups have attached floral detail for an extra wink to wrap up the whole outfit. Add on a little neutral crossbody and some round sunnies and you’re ready to go.
It may be difficult to find a way to stay on trend especially when fashion magazines are throwing colors and prints and textures which you are not familiar to. The majority of my wardrobe used to consist of mostly black pieces. I started testing the waters with grays, subtle prints. and now I like to try every trend but with my own twist. Sending all my love and make sure to stay true to you!
