SNOOZING

We all have a lot of things going on! Whether you go to school, work full-time, are trying to start a business, or don’t know which step is the next to take, stressing out is so common nowadays that it gets brushed under the rug. But have you ever wondered why you get a blemish on your face the day before a life-changing event? Okay, maybe not life-changing, but a graduation or a date for example. This is all because of stress. After all a clear skin is part of your overall appearance, and instead of sharing beauty products I’m going to share some tips on how you can release that tension.

The main cause of stress is lack of sleep, and what does when a person is stressed they only think of all the things they have yet to do. So, here’s some things you can do to help you fall asleep.

 

  • Drink a glass of warm milk! Just as babies are given milk to fall asleep, warm milk sets out stomach and sends a relaxing signal through the body.

 

  • Inhale and Exhale deeply while trying to keep your mind blank. Keep a count of the times that you do this and in no time you’ll snooze away.

 

  • Wear blackout shades! I personally only use these on flights, but these might help you when you need the extra coverage from any light.

 

  • Turn off your phone! It is almost impossible to go to sleep when notifications are flooding in. Of course we all want to open them, but getting that extra hour of sleep is also important !
