It’s amazing to see how trends change as time goes by. Whether it was the flapper look in the 20s, mod style in the 60s, or the hippie fashion in the 70s. We all have to adapt to trends in fashion and make them our own. A recent trend that began, which I love by the way, is the pom-pom on accessories trend. I began to see it on key chains and handbags as an extra add-on, but recently I have been seeing it more and more. At times the look might be overwhelming, but done right it can give a fun and flirty feel to any outfit.
Pom poms on shoes initially came out as a boho look to gladiator sandals, but a solid color with a single pompom looks more chic. I think the pom-pom trend can add a fun spin to your wardrobe, still looking classy and fashionable. The pumps I am wearing are the Jannet Pom Pom Sandal from Chinese Laundry ($90.00) . They come in three colors: grey, black, and rose. I went for the rose, because I wanted to go for a more feminine look, but all three colors are super cute! I wore them with Bebe jeans and a sweater same color as the shoes. If you love the simple outfit with a little bit of spunk, shop the look below!
